Robinho Hands In A Transfer Request

If Marca are to believed then according to their reports Robinho has told the club officials that he wants to join his Brazilian compatriot Scolari at Stamford Bridge and is no longer interested in stayting at Santiago Bernabau.

Marca claims that the tricky forward is fed up with the club's stance not to offer him a contract he is demanding for. He is also reportedly unhappy of being used as a bait by the Madrid giants to lure Ronaldo away from Old Trafford.

Let me go to Chelsea," Marca claim Robinho told Calderón and Schuster. "I want to go to Chelsea in the same wat that Ronaldo wants to come to Madrid. It is the same thing."

Madrid are said to be ready to double his wages but they are still 2 million euros short of what West Londoners have offered him.

Schuster told reporters. "I've talked with him and he knows perfectly that he is an important part of our plans,". "He is a key player and we are not thinking about if he leaves or not."

It could also be a ploy used by him to force the club to offer a contract which meets his demands.
